The performer shows a deck of cards, turns round, wears a blindfold and asks a spectator to cut a few card from the deck. The spectator shuffles the card and when he wants, show the first card of the pile.
Then, the spectator is requested to take a bigger pack of card, and cut this pack as he wants, to lose the card he saw amongst the others. The rest of the deck is placed above cards inside the spectator hand.
Once the performer is facing the spectator again, he explains that he will take the cards the spectator is holding and show them to him one by one. During this sequence, the spectator is asked to look at every single card the same way. But when he sees his card, he has to say STOP in his mind.
Without ever looking at the face of any card and without saying a word, always with the blindfold on his eyes the performer slowly shows each card. Magically, or by telepathy, the magician finds the card that the spectator chose and is thinking of right now!
Imagine if you could reveal a card that has been simply peeked at while your back was turned and your eyes were closed. FRANÇAIS :
Le magicien montre un jeu de carte normal, tourne le dos à l’audience, met un bandeau sur ses yeux et demande au spectateur de prendre un petit paquet de cartes du jeu. Le spectateur mélange les cartes et lorsqu’il le souhaite regarde la carte du dessus.
Ensuite, le spectateur prend un plus gros paquet de carte de jeu et recouvre sa carte. Le magicien lui demande de couper le jeu autant de fois qu’il le souhaite afin de mélanger le jeu et de perdre sa carte parmi les autres. Le reste du jeu, encore sur la table est placé sur les cartes.
Le magicien se retourne et toujours aves bandeau devant les yeux, explique au spectateur qu’il va prendre le paquet, montrer les cartes une à une au spectateur. Durant cette séquence le spectateur est invité à seulement regarder les cartes défiler et à dire STOP dans sa tête au moment où sa carte passera devant ses yeux.
Sans n’avoir jamais vu la carte du spectateur, sans dire un mot et toujours avec le bandeau devant les yeux, le magicien montre clairement toute les cartes du jeu. Magiquement ou par télépathie, le magicien retrouve la carte choisie au moment même où le spectateur pensait STOP.

Short version: Very strong magic. It's a gem and you should get it.
Long version: This is a hands-off trick, a spectator does "all the work" and you're still perfectly able to name the chosen cards. The routine is fun to perform and very fair to the spectator. There are no gimmicks. No sleights are needed for this one. Recommendations are also included. If you are in card magic though, that "something" is what you should want to learn anyway.
In closing, it really doesn't get much better than this. Highly recommended. I'm very happy with this routine, I had a lot of fun with it so far, and I'll be performing it whenever I get the chance. You received a video in english, and two pdf (one in french and the other in english) with a lot of variation. Great ideas from Thomas. It's a really good guy, just send him a mail and he responds me quickly.

I have seen this principle used. It is one of my favorite magician foolers. Thomas has given it a wonderful twist, and I feel it make the his version more simplified performance and allow the spectator to do the majority hands on. I like the idea with blindfold and the stop idea. I just performed it last night without and it got great reaction from a friend that always gives me a rough time. He was clueless. A tip is to have them recall what was done. They took random amount of cards twice. Chose a card then cut any number of time. And. You can tell them where there card was. I used the smell of honesty. Kinda joking kinda of a science. But it got great results several times in the same night. I have a method to change the outcome to different areas of the deck. But that is just for me for now.

This card trick is almost self working and it builds itself to a great reaction from the spectators. It requires no memorization, you can use a borrowed deck and there is no force - the spectator gets a free choice. As for the utility move that Thomas teaches, its very cleaver and requires little slight handling/practice and once you get it down, the move can be used in many other card routines. The video is about 22 minutes long and the explanation comes with 2 PDF one in French and the other in ENGLISH which covers/teaches every detail. You will not be disappointed with this purchase, like I said, it's almost self working and packs a great punch at the end...you will have people going for a state of confusion to amazement in a matter of seconds.

This trick is wonderful. It is a fooler of both magicians as well as laymen. It is one of the most cleverly constructed tricks I have ever seen or read about. The trick is the sort that you do at every table or in every set of a walk around gig. You will leave them fried and feeling as if they have seen real magic. Thomas present all his researches in the PDF. Well done ! You may need to work on it to make it fit your personality, but when you do, you will have a masterpiece. There are lots of possibilities with this trick. One of the best things I have ever bought, and I have a lot. Highly recommended.
